ImgCalKap- From raster to kap graphical convertion tool

I have been very sick and injured and have too many projects so my progress is slow.

I am focusing on climatology lately, and and near a new release for it with improved accuracy without increasing the database file size.

For chart editor, one important feature is to allow drag and drop of the calibration points of the image directly on the main chart canvas. This will allow aligning reef passes to tracks, or scanned raster charts to google earth images very easily. I believe this will require an extension to the core opencpn api to implement.

Sean If you say you are/were very sick, I have no doubt of it, and I think you should be seeing a Doc. Your health is very important and there are many things you could get without knowing it. I wondered if you were busy on a boat project.

Hello all !

I been working in the imgcalkap program, I hope will be useful for anybody who need to calibrate their raster charts, specially for Linux users.

The main improvements are:

- Read kap files, among other raster images (bmp, png, jpg,and other formats).
- Add, edit and delete the boundary points of a chart
- It can be compiled and running on Linux

So, it's now possible open a bmp raster chart, calibrate the chart, save as kap file, and reopen the kap for recalibrating many time as needed.

Yes, it compiles in windows under MinGw. There are windows binaries already compiled in the download site.
