Gilletarom...
Same problem as what? There is nothing wrong with this term in your French translation as far as I can tell.
And don't you see this when looking for it?

100% of Dutch language files is completed. Still not all is checked on screen, so suggestions for improvement are welcome.

NAV, it is part of the mystery of how Crowdin ...

Moreover, I observe that the language file of the plugin OTCurrent, present on the Crowdin, is not the language file of this plugin. I want this information from the developer of this plugin. So it might be removed this language file.

I'll see what happens, Gilletarom ...
If required, I will add the necessary translations.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hello Pavel,

sQuiddio :

I see that the 0.4 version was released.
But the language file is not included.
So everything is in English.

Even if I'm going to get the language file on Crowdin, nothing changes.

Many items are not even on the crowdin.

If you have some time to spare, would it be possible to correct this?

Thank you in advance.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

I have run the polar-pot-update and polar-po-update commands for the polar plugin on https://github.com/ptulp/polar_pi
How do I get the files into crowdin for translation?

Thanks,
Peter

It should directly ask Pavel. He alone knows it all.

Gille, perhaps this Translation for Nelson's Navy might help sometimes.

French-English glossary of the sailing navy : A

Its missing lots of modern terms, but who knows...

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

It's some time ago since I looked into the Dutch translations. In opencpn.pot (on CrowdIn), most translations of the texts in the 'right-click-on-the-chart pop-up menu' seem to be missing.

OpenCPN: Problem mentioned above seems to be taken care of by Nohal.

LogbookKonni: Due to the fact that for some time now the Dutch translation was terribly mixed up (due to new versions and possibly errors caused by the translation procedures used for CrowdIn) I did a major overhaul of the complete Dutch translation of LogbookKonni.

LogbookKonni: Remarks on Dutch translation of language file

The string "Water" is used both for 'water temperature' (in Meteo part of Logbook) and for 'water use' (in Engine part of Logbook). It's confusing and should preferably be changed such that two different string are available.

The translation of "Current" is - for unknown reasons - not changed when running the Plugin. It keeps showing "Getijstroom" instead of "Stroomrichting" (which is the translation I used).

Similar, the translation of "Priority:" is - for unknown reasons - not changed when running the Plugin. It keeps showing "Prioriteit:" instead of "Prio" (which is the translation I used).

In English, still the string "Weeks(s)" is present. Should be "Week(s)" of course.

Although technically not correct, I translated "Treenode" in Dutch as "Itemmap", and in one case as "Boomstructuur". This can generally be more easily understood by users in my opinion.
