I tried to install DVR on my Linux Laptop . Its not anough to put the libvdr into the directory /usr/local/lib/opencpn/ ,where the dashboard also is. Knows anybody what is to do?

I need to see a whole session of your logfile. I have no idea what version of OpenCPN etc. you are using, but you obviously have an incompatible version of VDR.

You are using OpenCPN 2.5.0.
The VDR plugin version you are using, requires OpenCPN 3.0.2.
Please upgrade. Make sure to renew the other plugins from the plugin download page at opencpn.org.

Hi!

Some issues with translation into estonian: translation will not show up! Plugin - vdr_pi 2.4.506, OpenCPN - 3.2.0 Build 2013-02-26.
What am I doing wrong? Plugin is in plugin's folder, translation in it's folder.

Any suggestions?

vdr_pi-0.3-ov3.2.2-win32.exe resulted
will upload to Opencpn Beta File Thingie, but it is just a new way to compile and install the plugin, so there are no differences in use.

Is it possible to change the sampling rate of the VDR Plugin?

If using the plugin on a long passage it would be desirable to specify when the NMEA data is sampled to avoid excessive data storage.

I think VDR 0.3 needs this feature in the recorder. There are no preferences in the current VDR recorder.

Which does not include your good suggestion. May I suggest that adding it to tracker would be a very good idea?
