Sounds like a steal if she's really in good shape.

We chartered one in the BVI some years ago for about six weeks....great sailing boat. The kids loved the "playpen". Another friend bought one in the BVI, strengthened her in spots, sailed her to the South Pacific, Alaska, etc.

I have a Cheoy Lee built 42-footer now...for past 20 years.

BTW, Soft Air is an Offshore 41, not 42.

Thanks for your post, I looked for this boat for over 2 years and finally found her at the BVI, the boat is in perfect shape and I myself took it from the BVI to Cartagena where she has been taken care by two full time professional sailors. I have to sell her due to mom`s health situation that requires immediate financial assistance on this matter thus I decided not to wait to sell her and instead put her on the market 26 thousand us below the price I paid on the BVI.

Yes this is a blue water yacht and it can be fully surveyed, she will pass with flying colors. The marina where she is at right now has towing facilities so it would take minutes to take her out of the water, again two professional sailors were hired over the last 12 months to keep her pristine. She is on the water and ready to sail.

I think a good friend of mine on this forum may be interested as he has been aware of this boat even before I bought her.

The only CL 41 for sale at yachtworld is a sloop and asking price is 85K us.

Last survey on softair was made by Caribbean Surveryors at the BVI

Due to mom`s health issues and the urgent need to cover insurance collateral I sadly bur responsibly must get rid of the boat

That`s also the reason for the low price....as this needs to happen quick.

Looking for specifics on what's included, i.e. dinghy, epirb, other safety gear, communications equipment, etc. Essentially want to know what it would take to sail it away from Cartagena to Baltimore, Maryland.
