CS 36T shoal draft model

PRICED FOR QUICK SALE

1979 CS 36T, shoal draft model. Already in paradise and docked in Roatan (2 hour flight from Houston). Live aboard in a tropical haven on the dock for $250 a month or cruise from here to Belize, Mexico or Panama. Delivery to the US or Canada an option.

Currently Canadian Registered and documented with all paperwork in order

Boat is actively used and maintained. Purchased 2010 in Annapolis and sailed down throughout the Caribbean over the past 7 years. Engine runs clean and starts easily every time. That looks like a heck of a deal. Anyone following Mainsail/Compass Marine
will know how well made these boats are.

These are well made canadian boats that are still popular in my area. Yes, a very attractive price, they usually sell much higher. The seller must be quite motivated.

It looks similar to the model in the adventure blog of a young couple who buy a boat sight unseen and sail the caribbean for a year:

However, I think in the blog they have the newer 36 Merlin, but I maybe wrong. Same boat, just a slightly different layout below.

No, the CS36 (later to become known as the CS36T for traditional) and the CS36 Merlin are two very different boats, albeit both built by Canadian Sailcraft. Different designers, different construction, different layout, different in every way.

The couple with the blog did have a Merlin.
