I Do Love my Free Stuff

At the local dump yesterday dumping a trailer load of palm fronds and found this 30 inch destroyer wheel sitting there waiting for a new owner, not a mark on it and even has the bronze bush in the middle for reduction down to 3/4 inch shaft.

I suppose thats the decision made on what steering wheel I'll have.

For now it's "art work".

Thank you, come again.

Must be nice, to throw away a US$541+ item (new) and not even sweat it.

Ridiculous isn't it.

The media tell us people and business are doing it tough but they also tell us Roll's Royce post's record sales
and French Champagne sales surged in 2011

Re: I do love my free stuff

I got offered a Free Genoa last week, from a PO 3 or 4 owners back (thanks to the interweb!).........not seen it, so could be a very good reason why was replaced!.......but might be a nice hank sail on that was simply replaced when the foresail furler was installed.

I too like Free!

Did you look for the rest of the boat while you were there?

Dave, I am chasing a couple of assymetric spinnakers any size or condition, if you fall over any let me know, and of course any chain or line in good nick is always welcome.

Re: I do love my free stuff

For our house, I got a free 5hp Tecumseh powered wood chipper.
It had only been used once, then stored under a tree for about five years.
The guy even delivered it!
Once I pressure washed it, it looked and worked like brand new.
