82 Morgan OI 416 porthole window replacements?

Hello! Does anyone know a source for replacement porthole window replacement materials? I’ve looked around, and the boat came with a small number, but I’m looking to replace a few and can’t seem to find a good source. Thanks so much!

416 replacement ports are easy to find. They are very common Beckson brand ports. specifically model 414. Every part is available to update/repair them Just be aware that there are 15 of them so can get expensive quick if you want to update all of the ports!

A nice upgrade for them is the New Found metals stainless port.

Having said all of that, the vessel is 42 years old and may have had a previous owner change ports at some point. Got a picture?

If you are on Facebook, there is a very active Morgan group called "Morgan 41 OI Owners Group" We've a very active group trying to keep these old girls going!

Replaced all of my ports with newfound metals SS ports. Took some time to do and not cheap but very happy with results. Bedded the new ones with butyl tape. Best of luck

Is that group still active?
It doesn't show when I search from within Facebook, and from Google I can follow the link (facebook.com/groups/Morgan41OIOwnersGroup/) but it only leads to a locked page.

Yes, its very much active, its just a private group (like most) that you have to join before you get access to the content.

Thanks for the quick reply. OK - but how can I join? The only thing visible is a locked page (see attached screen capture). There is no link to click on except to return to my account, no interface to ask to join, nothing.

We have a 1981 Morgan Out Island 416 ketch, all but a few of the portlights have been sealed shut with frosted glass installed, I can't imagine the cost to replace all of these but I think we may be looking at doing just that. Thanks for the tip on the beckson and new found metals!
