So people have regularly commented to me how fast we are downwind. We did a fun race with a J35. Upwind we got wrecked, but downwind we were quite fast (neither ran spins)

Now I dont go directly downwind, I tend to ease her down and run downwind right where the jib curls.

@leecea our 2004 36 was once a Annapolis Sail School boat along with a couple of other hunters. If yours was there I may have some documentation from her.
