1986 Jeanneau Sun Legend 41

Hi everyone,

I have been sailing for a few years now. I am looking for a new sailboat to live on board with my wife.

I would like to know the opinion of people who know the Jeanneau Sun Legend 41. This sailboat was built in 1986. I am going to visit this boat in a few days. The current owner has made many improvements. New rudder, new shaft and cutless bearing, new cockpit teak, deck repair and some other improvements.

We intend to keep this boat for at least 10-15 years. What will make this boat 50 years old... What do you think of the Sun Legend 41? Is it a lifetime boat? I know very well that there will be improvements to be made along the way, but is this a boat we can count on for the next 10-15 years? What do you think? Or I have to reconsider other options?
