Dreadnought 32 "Sundowner" Rudder Modification

A note from Bud regarding this rudder mod...
"The boat I took an order for was Sundowner, the cutter rig in the attached pictures. I built her for a Canadian couple, and they sailed her to the South Pacific. They found that the bottom of the rudder had so much area that it made steering difficult. They modified the rudder as shown in the pictures, and she handled much better afterwards. They eventually sailed back to Canada, and I saw the boat after one of the Westsail Northwest rendezvous."

Also note that the aft end of the rudder curves upward just a bit... I will probably make that curve just a bit steeper as Harry has done. Just to get it out of harms way and help me feel a bit more secure if I were to careen Molly B.
