Description: Being towed in 5 - 7ft seas by an oil rig crew boat is not fun. The cleat flew about 30ft in the air when it left the boat. No injuries to the crew, thank God.

When you get towed sometimes it is a good idea to make a bridle for the boat itself. Staying away from the stress on the cleats, and using the hull of the boat itself for strength......................
