You're joking, right?

Private Messages (PMs) are just that, private. We have no way to access them or read them, nor would we even if we could. They are strictly between the member sending and the member(s) receiving.

The only time we become aware of the content of a PM is when a member shares it with us, for example when reporting an abusive PM from another member.

half hour should be plenty of time. Think before you express!

Yes/No

There would have to be some track left - like the old text still visible but stricken.

Complexity adds even more. 30 minutes is all you get. If you really miss the boat and have to change something PM any Mod that is on line (check the home page portal) and request it be fixed. I fix a lot of posts because the poster missed the deadline.

You can request changes at any time - even before the deadline. We just don't need members rewriting history.

What about the posts where we say we love them (i.e. our boats) and then they (our partners) use such posts against us in the court?

;-)))

If your wife's lawyer is badass enough to get a discovery order for your deleted posts on CF then that's the least of your worries...

Well then, it looks like I must keep the boat ready for a long offshore passage at all times ;-)

Why let "thinking" get in the way of a good response?
