I was aware of the forum, but not that sub-forum .....that was pretty much what I was hoping CF would do here........will post a link across.

.....I shall have a read through again a bit later.

On a general note, I have now tweaked the layout a bit.......now have "Missing" Yachts separate from SAR's (my idea with those is to focus primarily on Ocean rescues, or least those which involve Cruisers - how that turns out only time will tell).

But the (existing!) "competition" has now been tweaked to include actual boat details (and not just stats) - and to be fair, is pretty decent .

List of Unsuccessful Bluewater Sailing Passages

TBH, if it had looked like that on Monday I would not have bothered - but am in the game now .

The International Boat Watch Network also publishes/broadcasts requests for lost or overdue vessels, and messages of high priority, such as requests for mariners to phone home for an important message.

Photos?

What about added Photos of the boat/ship for us less educated ones out there; maybe by clicking on the name to bring up a popup....

I think that it is a great idea!!!!

I am pondering things like that - it is just a matter of time and not creating a monster that needs constant feeding (free only gets yer so much......effort from me ).

But certainly I agree that a Photo is very informative.

I can't believe it.... Does any body else have evidence like this of beating the Great Guru Gordo with an info post?
