Re: Delete old thread

I can't find it.
Maybe if you post the email address on this thread we can find it?

Oh, wait....

Re: Delete old thread

We don't normally delete old threads, but I have edited one with an e mail address and phone number.

I don't think you can delete it yourself. You have to ask a moderator to delete it.

Smitty500:

If you want something edited, get the name of the thread (or link it from the url at the top of the page), and the post number, then down at the bottom of the page where it says "Contact Us", click on that, and fill in your request. A mod will get to it when someone is available.

Re: Delete old thread

Alternatively flag the post for review, triangle button bottom left of every post or top right of every PM.

State what you'd like us to do when prompted for the reason you'd flagged.

Generally we don't like to delete posts because it leaves non sequitors and breaks some continuity but we're happy to edit out personal info.

How can I delete my account?

Is there some way to get rid of all my posts too?

Re: Delete old thread

I don't have the technical answer to that, and I understand your desire to undo the personal vulnerability to technical/poltical vengeance that your past well-intentioned expressions of first amendment rights might have inspired. IMHO, if you have an online presence, it's already too late to undo it. You've taken a stand. Walk tall with it. It won't be Republicans who look to damage you for it.

We don't delete accounts and posts as this disrupts the forum. It is all explained in the forum rules you agreed to when you signed up to join CF.

It wouldn't do any good anyway since once your post is published on the internet it is always available if you look hard enough.
