Diesel tank

Hi

I bought a new diesel tank online and it didn’t have any instructions. There are 4 holes on top. The largest is definitely the fuel fill. So how do I figure which is the fuel pickup— fuel return—- and vent?
I appreciate any advice
Thanks

Diesel tank

Sure sounds right to me.
The fuel pickup will have a dip tube, if not then your supposed to supply the dip tube, West Marine sells good ones made from plastic, cut off to the correct length, screw it in.
I’d fit a dip tube on the return as well, I just don’t like falling fuel, the vent you leave alone of course.

Re: Diesel tank

Take a picture maybe, or call who made it?
I don’t know either about the float or something.
