Download OpenCPN manual

Hello OpenCPN users. I just downloaded Open CPN V 5.6. I would like to know how I can download the complete user manual in PDF format, so I'm able to refer to it off-line.

The OpenCPN user manual on their website, the user needs to be connected to the internet. The download manual In PDF is only two pages and not the complete manual? The OpenCPN website I find is not very intuitive? What I'm I missing?

That seems to be a link to the ver 4.8 manual

Your link is close to what I require, this is very helpful saves me cut and past each chapter as I had done on the much earlier OpenCPN versions. However, this is link is for OpenCPN V. 4.8? Do you know if there is a more up-to-date user Manual, say for V.5 onward?

Ver 5.0 seems to be latest Help


If you click on the "About OpenCPN" Toolbar icon ("?" in a circle), at the bottom of the splash screen you will see "Help".

Clicking on that opens the HTML based ver 5.0 "Local Offline OpenCPN User Manual " (which is located in a directory tree under your main OpenCPN directory.

Yeah, the website says that the manual is included with the binaries, so they should be in the install folder somewhere, or like someone just mentioned, check under help in the software itself
