Edit My Personal Info ?
"edit your 'about me' " does not seem to work. is there another way to edit my personal info?

Yes . . . click on User CP (control panel), then scroll down the left side to Your Profile and click on Edit Your Details. In the page that opens you can edit all of your details, including your About Me under Additional Information.
