Hip Hip Hooray!

I feel compelled to give the site admins and helpers a pat on the back.

As a newbie to this board but a long time user of other boards I have to say this place is very civil and runs great.

I have been lurking on several other sailing forums and while this one is not the biggest it certainly is laid out well and there is a wonderfully civil attitude among the members.

One site I have been lurking on has reached that "giant" size and there is a ton of mudslinging, personal attacks, politics, religion and slurs going on.

May this site, through your efforts admins, forever be a place of fun and civility.

Just wanted to say good job.

I second that!

I don't post often --- but I read this site every day. Usually several times a day to get my daily "fix" of boating information. We are planning to cast off within the next year, and this website helps keep the dream alive.

I always come away feeling good after reading the advice, comments, jokes, etc. from the great members of this site. I only occasionally check out a few of the other sites, and I'm always reminded how good we have it here!

Keep up the good work -- administrators and posters all!

Cheers

..and a third!

Yeah, thanks guys-n-gals, both admin and posters....reading this site is much more rewarding then the boob-tube. Playing here helps to stay mentally in cruiser mode while we're back in the work game for a bit.

best - J

I think if ya took out the mudslinging and politics and all the other stuff not relating to sailing/cruising,those other sites wouldn't really be bigger than the one we have here.Or more informative. My 2cts.Mudnut.
