How to edit your posts?

Hi.
I posted on your post that i didnt really know what boat I had.. now I have a better idea, and got some pictures. but when I went to edit the post with the updated info I can not figure out how to edit it.

I seem to recall editing other posts.. is there a trick to it I am missing?

Please be aware that edits will only be allowed if they do not impact the flow of the thread (i.e. changing the original statement to make someone else look less credible).
