“Ignore Thread” Function

Dear Mods:

I seem to have lost the “ignore thread” option from the “thread tools” menu. The only thing I can think of is that I put too many threads on ignore!

Do you know if there is a limit to the maximum number of threads a used can ignore? If that is not a thing at all, do you know of any other reason for why I seem to have lost this tool?

Hello, Jamme, I actually don't know. Sorry. Please use the "Contact Us" button and get your question in the Administration queue. In the computer view, it displays near the bottom of the page, and is the first in a number of options. One usually receives same day service.

If it is a situation of needing more space, you could see what has happened with those threads, as many threads that were disrupted were closed or deleted, so you might get more just by editing your list.

You made me look because I use this function all the time. It's alive and well for me. In fact, I just used it earlier today to ignore yet another gun thread.

I looked at my collection of ignored threads. Now amounts to five pages. Must be something like 120 in there now.

Thank you both very much. I always use a phone to connect to CF, often via the app, but in circumstances where the app does not provide a specific function (such as the “ignore thread”), I log on the web still via the phone.

I will try via laptop to see if I have better luck.

Just reporting back on this: the "ignore thread" option is fully functioning when logged in from the laptop. It is just unavailable when I log in from my phone.

Thanks for checking it out Jamme. I access CF mostly through the standard website on my computer. Sometimes I use Tapatalk on my iPad, but I don't think it has the Ignore Thread capability either. Too bad, because it really great.
