Insert Image

I have been trying to determine how to insert an image in a classified ad. When I click on the insert image icon, I am asked for a URL. The image I am trying to insert is on my "C:" hard drive, but when I insert that path the image is not inserted. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Bob... don't use the insert image icon.... use the attatchments facility this then opens a box... the top section is for attachments from your computor... the one below for stuff in your site album...

Once its on the board you've 30 minutes roughly.... after that the edit button disappears.....
Just copy n paste and make a fresh post.... get your stars faster......

The correct answer is to contact a site moderator and ask to have your post edited. (Sorry, Phil, you were on a roll up 'til then . . . )

Heh . . . no worries, Phil. You were actually giving good advice to rabend. And you've helped to draw attention to whatever pics he wants to post. I can't wait to see what it is he ultimately posts.

And if he does go the copy-and-paste route, this time with the images attached, we'll just delete the original post without them, so it's actually good advice you've given.
