Missing thread on battery chargers

I was participating in a recent thread in the Electrical: Batteries, Generators, & Solar forum. The tread title was "What size battery charger??". It seems to be gone. Any chance you can find and restore it, as it had some useful information for an ongoing project of mine.

The thread is not controversial, so I'm assuming it's either a software bug or an administrative error. (or I have screwed up in not being able to find it)

Thanks for your attention.

Admin interface says original post was deleted by "MrFixIt" so that'll kill the whole thread.

Update: Ok, I checked, I can "undelete it" but if I delete MrFixIt's post it kills the thread. I'll have to check with my admin/mod buddies to see what we can do. Standby one.

Mr Fixit's original question

I think that Mr. Fixit was frustrated because his original question regarding just what (and how large) charger might be used with his Honda generator was never actually answered. All of the contributions answered questions not asked (by him).

I was formulating a general answer yet haven't had time to post it.

If you can continue to finish that reply Rick, it would be approciated if either it was posted in the thread if knotyybouyze gets it re-instated or otherwise we will start another thread. I think it is a great question and I just know your reply will be great answer. Then one of us should PM Mr Fixit and tell him a reply was posted to his question. Not sure why someone would pull their post because it wasn't answered, but then a lot of responses on this place have been hard for me to understand lately.

Yes I would second that - I would be interested to hear your response Rick.

I have been following the topic with interest as I have the same project on the go.

Will do...

O.K., I will have to carve out a little time to write down some salient points for making an intelligent choice for charger size. Actually it coincides with a project that I am working on for one of the "good" inverter/charger manufacturers. Women (or wondering about what makes them tick), wine, and work seem to take up all of my time yet not necessarily in that order as one might guess.
