New Forum Page 1/3 Taken Up by Garbage in Right Hand Side ?

With the new software, can I get rid of the boxes of stuff down the side? When I am reading I want to read the thread I clicked on not a list of other stuff down the side. How do I get rid of it?

anyway i can get the date/time of the last post on a thread in the main portal?

There is a column Title, Username, & Date

Where is the date?

Also the title is very short. There is a ton of space between the title and the user on this page that is empty and could be used for the date/time of last post.

In an attempt to keep titles to a single line so that more linked titles can appear on the Portal Page, the technical staff decided to omit the date and time. It was felt that the date was irrelevant because the board moves so quickly, now, that all posts on the Portal Page are less than a few hours old (so everything is "today") but I agree that the time stamp was useful information.

This, and many other items are under study for additional tweaking. Please be patient.
