I can't find a private message that I just glanced at, wanted to save and come back to. I know I didn't delete it but can't find it.
I know under the avatar had Soling and the body of the message contain Hawaiian Beaches.

Can anyone help?

Hi John

It was not a private message, but a profile comment.

Go to your profile and you can see the comment. Sometimes PMs are incorrectly sent as a profile comment.

Speaking of not seeing things...often when I get an email message showing a reply on this forum... I clik on it and go to the thread.... but the post isn't on the thread yet! Although I can read the post in my email.. anyone else have this happen?

I never thought to look at the profile comment because I hardly ever go there.
