search a member's threads

I am trying to find a thread from a particular user. Is there a way to search a user's threads for a particular one?

On the blue bar at the top of the forum thread post, click on Search and then enter the Users name to find the threads or the posts that they have posted to and / or the ones they started.

Go to the user’s profile, click on “Statistics”, then select “Find all posts by ...” or
“Find all threads started by ...”.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a sorta related question. Does anyone have a good method to index items of interest in the daily email? When there is something I might want to revisit in the future, I forward that daily email to myself and change the subject line to contain the item/s of interest. The links don't work in the forwarded email, but since I keep all the digest emails in a folder, I can look them up by date and the number of items in the original.

It can be tedious, but not as much so as fishing around for a long forgotten thread or poster.

Anyone have another/better system?

on most of the forums you just have to enter that user's page and there you can find his discussions

Click on "Thread Tools" at the top of the page and select "Subscribe to Thread".


In your user CP, you can select "List Subscriptions" to see all threads you have subscribed to.
