Searching for topic

Hi, I am new to the site and don't want to waste time asking questions that have been answered before, but I cannot find a search box, but I am sure there must be one somewhere. I am looking for information about how to heave to, and have looked in the Seamanship Forum, but cannot take all the time needed to skim through the many different posts there, so can some one explain how I search archives on a forum. Thanks.

Look up to your right, there's a bar with a bunch of choices in it. One of them is search with a small arrow beside it. Once you click it use the google custom search box for the best results.
