If you use firefox or chrome, get AdBlock Plus addon. I never saw them until I had it turned off by accident one day. I don't blame you. But with ABP, I don't see any advertisements (Works for TONS Of ads including Google search ads, facebook ads, etc).

Please, keep the ads. The site must pay its expenses, and if the owners make a bit, so much the better, it will encourage them to make the site better yet.

There are a lot of sailing forums out there, but IMHO, this one provides the best service to users.

i would also like to complain.
since iv'e started using this site the coffe cup holder on the front of my pc has stopped working.

and my kids are giving me a hard time because they say iv'e broken the dvd player....................

I was always logged in, but most of the posts consisted of two-thirds to three-fourths of google ad links. Fortunately, theose ads seem to be gone now.

When I view the post, the ads aren't there.
If I poat a reply the ads aren't there
If I edit the post or delete the post the ads appear.
When I select the next page the ads appear.

Something for the programmer to check.
