thread subscriptions

Is there anyway to set the system so that you never get emails when a new posting is made to something you started/commented on? I know I can unscribe to any thread, but would like to set it so I don't get any to start with (that's what checking the forum is for).

Go to Profile, Edit Options, Choose what you want in the thread subscription notification.

Great question and thank you for the answer, I have been messing about in my UserCP for a while now trying to get rid of those e-mail notifications.
