Bahamas Bound

I see a few cruisers are already on their way and posting on a thread about the length of the ICW. Thought I'd start a new one for those out there and on the waterway. I'll be starting day after tomorrow. Drive down to Fernandina Beach, see if the boat's still there, dab on a bit of bottom paint and then we're off. (of course this is the plan but usually there's something to screw this up) My usual "schedule" is Miami around Christmas and then across to Nassau and then generally southward. We'll be hosting Thanksgiving this year in Fernandina. Last year we did it in St. Augustine. If any of you are in the area give us a shout on "Breathless". We've got lots of room in the condo and some cruisers from Green Cove Springs who are on about the same time frame will be joining us. Also for those who like Cumberland and St. Marys, remember there's a cruisers Thanksgiving get together in St. Marys. I've never been but have heard that the folks there really know how to throw a party. See you on the water.

Sunspot Baby will be departing late November from New Bern. We'll watch for Breathless - hope to see you in the Bahamas!

There is also a cruisers Thanksgiving gathering in Vero Beach. We should be there tomorrow.
