Cedar Point Boat Show

Has anyone been to the Cedar Point Boat Show before? The website is fairly unhelpful. I am trying to figure out if it is mostly just a power boater thing, or if sails will be making an appearance as well. Any info will be helpful. Thanks

Yes, we have been there 3 years in a row. Also, yes, you are correct, it is about 90-95% Power boat. Small contingent of sailboats, mostly from Freeman Eckley, and Harbor North. It is a fun time to see all the different styles of power boatsm But you will only see , Hunters ( Harbor North ) and Beneteau's ( Freeman Eckley ) there was also a Hanse there the last two years. Almost no used sailboats, all new. If you are searching, I suggest a call to Al at Freeman Eckley, We met him 3 years ago and he looked for the last two years for just the right boat for us. We finally found it in NJ of all places. and have had it in Sandusky for the last 6 weeks. If it is not too long a drive for you, it is a great place to visit.

Old stomping grounds, still have family in Catawba Island and my brother in law used to be the sales manager at Marine Max. If you go make a trip of it - go to Cedar Point the best roller coaster park in the world, go to the water park the next day. Go to the boat show, shop the vendors and walk the stink pots. Take RT 2 back west to Port Clinton, jump a ferry to Put-In-Bay stay at the Carriage House eat and drink at Frosty's take the ferry back, jump on the turnpike back home. By the way one of the best boat shows will be back in your neck of the woods in February -
