Seriously - thanks for contacting Cruisers about this, glad we can help out a little. The Holidays are lousy time to be stranded far from home.

In spite of my best efforts I have been unable to come to any conclusions regarding the sailor in question. She is not currently stranded, but still on the vessel and she may need to vacate on the 5th. I spoke with Karen on the phone and exchanged numerous emails and PMs with other posters who are partially familiar with Karen's situation.

I am now out of good deeds for the year.
