Pirates

I am a Purple Heart combat veteran (Nam), been shot and shot back i.e. been there and done that. I hate war, the death and destruction it creates BUT:

The armchair niceties of international law, fine line definitions of legal (or illegal status), humanitarian considerations about "starving Fishermen", as well as all other socio-political-economic arguments, etc. ad nauseum, aside, you attempt to board my vessel, any size, with the clear intent of harming me, my crew or anyone aboard in any way, your ass is mine!

Dead pirates do not do it again!

Perhaps when the lists of "missing at sea" in Somalian pirate havens get long enough they will get the idea.

I love the Q-ship idea, and since the governments/politicians of the maritime nations seem to be hopelessly gutless perhaps corporate sponsorship would work. Even at my age I'd volunteer as navigator.
