Story of sailors rescued after 5 months at sea cast into doubt by inconsistencies - World - CBC News
As I suspected , nothing litigious , no accusations of lieing ,fraud , impersonation or heaven forbid kidnapping etc etc , just the usual doubting of some of the facts which are open to interpretation and some perhaps adrenaline heat of the moment adrenaline fed euphoria driven elaboration by the ladies upon rescue , pperhaps there are many on here who have never been in such a " high " situation and can have no idea of what it can be like .

several things in their story have changed or been added to since the recovery.
Trust me when I say this: When you do go thru a real life or death situation ( I have been thru many) every detail is ingrained on your memory. Nothing will change in your story and there will be no omissions that come to light later.

Ha, I never watched them, but did hang out with cast and crew at a beach bar once...located near the island on which they were fighting to survive. [emoji848]

The requires laboratory equipment, a device called a pulse height analyzer and some knowledge to interpret the data.

They seem to have lacked ALL of the above, so I kinda doubt that they were involved in even a volunteer effort at measuring contamination from Fukashima (sp?).

Maybe all that extra fiberglass was supposed to be the shield.

It could be.

Newhaul you are absolutely correct. I would give em a lie detector test and check the departing marinas security video for a week before they left.

Agathur Christy where are you?

Re: HI->Tahiti Dingbats found after 5 months

The first thing that was an exaggeration was the force 11 storm the first night out.
The weather service already confirmed no stormy weather in the area that night or any significant weather that entire month within a thousand+ miles of the sea nymph.
And it was all down hill from there. ( why the omission of radio contact with wake island)

And now we know how some politicians get elected. Virtually everything these two people say is either suspect or a proven fallacy and yet they should be held to some lower standard of belief?

I "dream it up" from your failure to respond to a simple question in post 311. So please, enlighten me with what vessel do you spend your time on the water???
