In Memory - Sad News

Donald Jordan, inventor of the Jordan Series Drogue passed away this past weekend. He was, I believe, 92 years young and was working on his latest invention for sail boats up to the very last. I had the privilege of being a personal friend of Dons. He was a man of contagious humor and generosity who cared deeply about the plights of sailors. It is my understanding that Don took no monetary gain from his series drogue. Cruisers owe a debt of gratitude for his perseverance over a long period of time in testing, evaluating and bringing his series drogue to the forefront. For the shear pleasure of it!

I'll miss you Don!

Don’s life was our gain, his passing our loss.
The Jordan Series Drogue remains as a monument to his work.
