What a lucky girl! If only there were a Phil for every abandoned-yet-perfectly-good-floating-on-a-mooring-somewhere boat!

I think he has turned it down although for the life of me I can't understand why. Couple of years spent with bleach, sand paper and paint should have her spruced up

May be he has been traumatised in a previous life painting grey funnel ships.

Hey now that is a good result. Be interesting to hear of the voyage to Falmouth in her.

You will need a pipe and some St Bruno pipe tobacco to sail a gaffer though

pirate re: MacWester 26 and the "hina"ous crew

To much work and nowhere to put her thats free/cheap while I fixed her up..
I'm still 1/2way through the Corribee...
If I'd been in Atolls place... just down the coast... maybe..
But she is a lot of work...

re: MacWester 26 and the "hina"ous crew

haha! "pete7" is coming as crew and "twinkle toes" my my long suffering biscay delivery crew as well.

the harbour master has offered to lift her out over the week end and pressure wash so we can do any work nessacary on monday then relaunch.
didnt mention any charge so that would be really great.... hope to leave on thurs for falmouth with beautiful weather,as predicted.

just serviced the rib and 25 hp as propulsion and life raft, getting batteries, nav gear, radios, cooker etc all in one place, drive down on monday morning.

shot of twinkle toes in morrocco after a f 9 in the gulf of cadiz and no sleep for 36 hrs
