Silver Raven to be exact. She's a steel Van de Stadt 34. This was taken before the change of name. The quote in my signature is from a song by ex Byrds member Gene Clark called Silver Raven.

Nice looking yacht. Do you cruise anywhere for your holidays or just sail in Sydney Harbour? (spelt correctly not the Yank way)

And a very Merry Christmas to you Seafox! The sounds look as beautiful as usual and I hope one day we can cruise them.

Thanks mate. You can probably spell arse correctly as well. She's not what you'd call pretty but good looking in a handsome kind of way we like to think. Very comfortable below deck. We've only had her since Easter, weekends away and refitting since then but we plan on heading off for three weeks after Boxing Day. Maybe north, maybe south but probably rock hop up the coast, possibly even head out to Lord Howe. Longer term goals for next year if things go to plan. I'd like to cruise Tasmania for a while and also head over your way but would probably do that via New Caledonia. We shall see.

Cheers

Andrew

Merry Christmas Campout!!

Hope you all have a great Christmas Holiday!! We'll be up camping on our larger acreage here on the Big Island of Hawaii and decorating one of our Norfolk pine trees. It is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of commercial Christmas and a great escape for us. Hope you all find the solitude you enjoy during the season!! The best to you and yours.

Wherever you are I hope Santa finds you!!

We'll I have awoken to a simple stunning Christmas Morning here in Kiwi Land. We are supposed to get to a lovely 26c today. Most of the country is in the low/mid 20's with the exception of the deep south being only 17c. I do feel for you guy's that are in snow and cold, but then, I would love to experiance a "white Christmas" just once. I emphasis the Just Once part ;-)

Merry Christmas everyone.
