Morgan 45 - 1990-Series - Comments?

We are looking at a few makes and models for extended cruising. With an aft cabin in mind these boats tick a few boxes for us. As well- price range, liveaboard accom for mostly a couple, good galley.

I have questions in mind about sailing performance (ballast ratio approx 36%) and light airs ability with 816 sq ft. The Catalina range dont strike me as the soundest offshore vessels but with the Morgan name is this vessel (Morgan 45) going to make safe and speedy passages with good windward performance?

Welcome any thoughts from owners or folk who have sailed them.

Not a great sailing boat - seriously under powered. My wife did like the bathtub, though.
