Hi Mike,

If you liked the steak the turkey is even better.

For all members,

I am getting some positive input on a turkey getting grilled. Will Nov 18th work for everyone & turkey? You can always cook a ham with family on Thanksgiving. That's what I will be doing.........i2f

John,

Nov 18 appears to be a Wed on my calendar - did you mean Nov 21 or 22 by any chance?

Thanks

Thanks Hakki,

The month of Oct. slipped down. Nov 22nd is a Sunday, and just in case I am still in the process of closing the shop. That will be my day off. We are definately out of here this winter. We have rented the house, and now getting ready to close the shop. Our next decision will be northwest, or southwest once passing through the Panama canal......i2f

Can we have a vote on Nov 22nd? How about what will be grilled? Is turkey too much being close to Thanksgiving? Should we meet again in GCS's?.......i2f

We are in for 11/22... Looking forward to it. Green Cove would be fine with us.

i2f,

Sounds like the makings for a good party. Sorry I can't join you. Offer still stands for that mooring out here in front of the house if you decide to come North-East to cross the pond.
Haven't seen you up with the snakes lately. Still working on getting my 289 FIA from Unique.

I haven't visited the snakes in about 6 months. I got tired of the trolling by a few idiots. I was thinking of posting, and asking a few to follow our trek across the Pacific on Imagine. Have you got any pics of the FIA?

This will be the third get together, and the other 2 were really fun. Lots of different side dishes that were delicious, a few sailing lies, and drinks.........i2f

Smoking a beef brisket would be awesome. I lived in Kansas for a number of years and learned to smoke meat on a small Weber. You would need to start those babies early in the morning. Would love to help if you need it...

Nov 22 will work well for Barb and I. Being very easy to please, any food choice is fine; just let us know what we can bring or how we can help.

Cheers

I may just do that, what type of wood do you like to use? I like to use white oak, and various fruit woods. I also soak them in water overnight. We am looking forward to the get together....
