Thumbs up Sailndive will be attending...

... what can we bring?.. I was thinking of picking up something like a veggie tray or hot wings; any ideas? Since I don't really live there, it'll have to be something purchaseable

There is a chance two more sailing couples may join us - haven't received anything firm from them yet.

Sailndive,
I asked Imagin2Frolic to respond on the items to bring. I will check back to see if he has. The last time there was a smorgusbord of food items. So I think you are safe with your selections. Glad to hear you and your friends are attending.

HI Sailndive,

I am cooking chicken, so anything besides wings is appreciated. The more the merrier. I will be checking in almost daily to help organize the Fling. I ran across more pork tenderlois just like last year on sale, so I couldn't resist, and bought some. Looks like tenderloins, chicken thighs, and sausages will be on the grill.

I will supply soft drinks, ice, and a large cooler for what ever is brought. The crew lounge has a full kitchen. Just in case someone needs to warm, and or cook anything. Is everyone okay with the time to eat a little before 4, or 5pm. Gives you time to get home?

If anyone is coming in by boat. Let me know, and I will ask if there's any open slips. There is also a couple of anchorages within a mile. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, and some new ones..........i2f

P.S.,

Thanks to those helping me keep the thread alive in my absence

HI ALL,

I am hoping that everyone can list what they will bring. There will be some people from the marina just as there was last year. I will list what they are bringing by next Monday.

When I grill I can only be a wee bit vague about the time of eating. I am looking at around 4-5pm. Is everyone okay with the timing? Any other questions about anything? I promise you won't go away hungry....lololololol......i2f

I boarded a boat at Whitney's marina when Candice was the owner. Would love to visit Green Cove again too. Sign me up. David

Inkwell,

Looking forward to meeting you. Let us know when you decide what your contribution will be as a side dish. We are hoping not to get doubles. Last year turned out fantastic. I do know that a pot of chili will be served also besides the meat......i2f

John,

I have received confirmation that one of the two sailing couples I had mentioned earlier will be able to attend. So far, "four" in our group

Will let you know if/when I receive confirmation from the other couple next week.

See you at the fling
