Sounds like that could be the case. The dinghy rolled a few times and a non swimmer would have drowned.

Was very surprised when I also saw that one claimed he could not swim - as a few forumites will know I have a very authorative source on this subject and she is also surprised as is very unusual (perhaps he meant across the language barrier that he couldn't swim far enough??? but dunno).

good reality check......we can all do dumb stuff that really wasn't so dumb to start off with.....
.......dont want to push my luck, but I recon the reason why a lot of us sail is not because it stays the same.... still have to be careful though...
