I will also volunteer my place. I live in a condo at the Chamachee Island Marina in St. Augustine. We can cook out here and use the pool. The marina and by boat are right outside my back door. I can reserve the pool area for that Sunday or Saturday night for the group. Sounds like fun, what ever the placed decided on.

Isn't there a hotel on the other side of the marina? Another thought is Aug the 31st would give us labor day after.

Can't do Aug 31st. High school class reunion that week end in Chicago. There are bunch of Hotels/Motels in the area. Inn at Chamachee Island is at the front of the complex.

Yes, the Bahamas sound interesting, but the $300 entry fee is a little steep for a day/weekend event. I do not have the time either. August 17th has been suggested as the date, is there anyone unable to attend that is interested in attending?

Hopefully others will jump in with some information. I suggested that date, and any later dates to give people time to speakup on what would work for them. Maybe we should throw in several dates, and get a vote?

Listing more dates is a possibility. Because of The Florida Gator/Seminole Football Season, I do not know if a fall date is possible with the CF members. That is why I did not suggest a fall date. Maybe we need to poll interested CF members on the 17th then settle the location.

I looks like August 17th will work for me. Either Green Cove Springs location or the St. Augustine location would work. It's about the same driving distance from Gainesville.

Good suggestions, and either place is fine by me. I like the idea of the pool, and also if we do my place in GCS's I will supply meat, and grill. Fall is not far off, and it would be cooler. My concern is just to meet the people we are always trading information with. Hopefully some more thoughts will fall into place her....thanks all!!!!!!!!!!

I believe Latitude was throwing in a sense of humor. Not really mean we should meet there, but it would be fun if it was possible......Does anyone here know how to set up the poll? Let's throw out 3, or 4 dates, and see what happens.......John
