A couple of quickies:
  1. This is Java so it won't work on iPad or iPhone. (Thanks, Steve Jobs.)
  2. Have you tried the usual browser shutdown and restart?
  3. Computer restart?
  4. Tried another browser?
It is working for me with Firefox 3.6.3 and Windows 7.

Re: We're Out of Here!

Can't see it on my MacBook Pro either. I've tried several times.

I do have Java 1.6 in 64 and 32 bit from Apple, but no luck, using FireFox 4.

Haven't thought to try Safari.

edit...... Works in Safari! Glad to be able to follow along.

WithSailsUnfurled: Check-in/OK - all is well with David.
32.22875 latitude, -117.0955 longitude (off Tijuana)
Here ➥ http://www.findmespot.com/mylocation/?id=4YDfu
(which page I couldn't back or x out of. had to shut down Firefox 4)

Gord,
That message seems to have been from sometime yesterday afternoon. For those who can't track, they turned in towards Ensenada Wednesday early evening and seem to have arrived in the harbor at about 3AM.

Re: We're Out of Here!

Seems to be working fine for me. I show her about 200' offshore in the northern end of the marina in Ensenada at 03:11 this morning. Latitude 31.85966, Longitude -116.62737. Is that right?

Re: We're Out of Here!

Truthfully I am not sure what is up to date at the moment. I had a system crash and reloaded the very basics as I won't be using this pc for much longer .

I just tried Explorer though and after telling me that the Java can't be loaded 4 times the 5th time it did it without me doing anything more than hitting reload
Oh wonders of Explorer ...

Thanks Tartansail and St Elsewhere for the suggestions.

Re: We're Out of Here!

On Linux firefox, it took ages for anything to show and the actual java map is super slow as well - but work it did

I have no idea what their plan was, but people often stop at Ensenada to clear in to Mexico. Plus, you can get work done their fairly inexpensively if you need the services of a boat yard.

Re: We're Out of Here!

I have them @ 12:21 AM. I expect it was planned, and probably a wise start given the build up of excitement and yougsta crew. Consistency of time - seems they must have motored?

Re: We're Out of Here!

There is no JAVA on that page. None. Nada.

There is lots of (really poorly executed) JavaScript. Those are unrelated languages.

It doesn't work for me in FireFox4. A quick peek at the JS reveals that they are puling data from SPOT Shared Page, which does work in all browsers.
