Re: Yay.... Finally headed to Grenada....

I suppose it would depend upon your route from Ft Worth Texas to the islands. If you head south to Mexico - Isla Mujeres region - then a route south of Cuba via the Caymans, Jamaica, Hispaniola and the Puerto Rico would probably be a pleasant warmer way to do it.
- - But if you are heading to Florida and the Keys then the standard Bruce Van Sant "Thornless Path" route through the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic and finally Puerto Rico to the Virgins has been the "main" route to the eastern Caribbean.
- - Each route has its highlights and places to stop and play along with its nasty sections.

Re: Yay.... Finally headed to Grenada....

Here is some of the types of events you can expect when you get to Grenada. These normally include cruisers anchored or docked in the south coast bays around Clarkes Court Bay; Hog Island; Mt Hartman Bay and Little Calvigny.
