Bad anchoring

This is exactly what it's like in LaPaz Mexico when the tide and wind oppose.
It's known as."The LaPaz Waltz".
We experienced it in a full keel boat, and it was pretty amazing seeing huge current going under the boat at a 90 degree angle from where the boat sat.
I found a fairly stable sideways position by locking the wheel at a small angle.

Good suggestion, I tried that with negative results.

Unfortunately my cat doesn't have enough keel for that to work.

Maybe a good technique for a full keeled mono.

For me it just increased the spin rate.
