I have a slightly different method. I make it a point to offer my labor whenever a boat person, former boat person, or someone who's great uncle was a boat person, needs to clean out a storage. I have been given all sorts of treasures. I also made friends with one of the local do anything for a buck guys, who talk nice to the salvage companies cutting up derelict vessels. I have aquired quite a few treasures there as well. It is amazing what you can get for a six pack or a few hours of toting boxes, and you don't have to deal with what people put IN those dumpster treasures.
