Re: What day is it?

Unfortunately in the PNW, with some of our tides and currents, we need to know that day, date and time.

So my question to the cruisers 'out there': Do you know what day of the week it is?
Do you care? No
Does the week just revolve around some hazy idea that its the weekend soon and we can do even less? Naah... thats when the fun is.....
Do you get pissed off when someone tells you what day of the week it is, so now you know? That irritates me! I try to get through the whole week without knowing.
You could just say... "Thats nice for you..."

Or are you a Need to Know person who always knows?
Only when its 5.o clock

What were you like when at work in the old life and how have you changed?
Which job...???

Mark
PS The other guy was right. It was Tuesday. That was a few days ago. Its either Thursday or Friday now. I think.
Its Thursday where I'm at... or if you prefer Quintafiera.....
and the Calvados is delicious...

If the rocks, pilings, post, and what not are dry, that means the tide is in the flood stage. If they're wet then the tide is on the ebb.

If I needed more info, a decent handheld GPS is an outstanding source of informatation.

Hmmmmm. I can see pent up agression, frustration with overlays of stress. Symptoms like this can be resolved by a nice long cruise. You should think about it.

Re: What day is it?

Just be careful all you smug relaxed "I don't care what day it is" folks.
Every time I vist my mum in the nursing home she desparatly askes me "what day it is", as she still hopes she can fool the staff that she hasn't lost it.
Sadly they have already cerfied her as being unable to look after herself.
So make the most of life while you can and enjoy it as much as you can, but never ever loose track of what day it is.
