1988 Viking 48' Convertible

We are in due diligence phase of checking out a 48' Viking, 1988, for berthing somewhere near San Jose Del Cabo. Any data on the boat or berthing experience is welcomed. Lots different from my 19' runabout at 9100 feet in Colorado.

Nice. What cabin configuration, what engines?

Re: 1988 Viking 48' Convertible

The reason I asked about deck configuration is about windage; a sportfish (for example) may be less prone to windage issues than an aft-cabin motor yacht (for example). BTW, see also here for current discussion about docking:

I think an '94 46' Super Sport is a sportfish (or convertible) configuration? Probably Detroit Diesel 2-strokes? Is that the boat you first mentioned (as an '88 48')?
