anchorman power 700, simpson lawrence windlass

I have a 1988 Chris Craft Catalina 372. My problem I just found out is my windlass, which is a S/L Anchorman Power 700. The motor checks out fine, it's the main shaft thats seized/frozen. I tried what they say is the best penetrating oil out there for rust and seized parts, I sprayed the shaft for a full day before I tried to turn the shaft, to no avail. The manual I have is not bad but, it doesn't show/tell you how to disassemble the gearbox assembly from the main-shaft, which is inside the rope locker. One of my concerns is that I don't over disassemble and have parts all over. HELP Sorry for the long Thread.
