Re: Basic Power Cruising Questions

Next time you search yachtworld add the word "europa" to your trawler search. There are a number of manufacturers and this style would seem to address your "wants"

One thing with Yachtworld; if you want a single engine, don't put it in your search. Amazing how many twin engine boats are listed as singles. Ridiculous Mr Yachtworld !!

I don't find that as an issue with the website. That is selected by the person listing the item.

Re: Basic Power Cruising Questions

This may be too small to meet your needs but is a up and coming offering that due to fuel costs is selling quite well. Very efficient catamaran hull that is light displacement and powered by a pair of 50 to 90 hp outboards. Both trailerable and off shore capable...

I have looked at those a few times, but I came to the conclusion that it would in fact be too small. Thank you for the heads up I really appreciate it.

That is of course true. However, Yachtworld is a professional trade site. It is the brokers that are listing the boats spec incorrectly. I do see it as an issue with the Website, in that clearly there is no monitoring of the listings to ensure the information is correct.

Whilst this is going a bit off topic, another issue with the search facility is that you cannot 'exclude' words from your search. Although the site may be the market leader, it could be improved so much. JMHO
