Cruisair charging question

3ish years ago in Mexico somewhere, I had a A/C guy come out and identify a leak in my low pressure (suction side) valve was leaking. We agreed to remove the valve and weld it up without it. He then managed to charge the system as well.
My question is...
What is the procedure for charging the unit from the high pressure side? TIA

It depends. Does the reversing valve switch the high and low valves when in heat mode? If so, it's easy. Charge in heat mode instead of cool mode.

Re: Cruisair charging question

Upon further investigation, if I do try to charge from the high pressure side I should put liquid in rather than gas correct? R22 bottle upside down...
